Wealth Across Borders. Planned With Precision.

For families with international roots, repatriating assets to the United States — or managing wealth across multiple countries — involves a tax and reporting landscape most domestic advisors never engage with. This 50–60 minute seminar covers the major frameworks: FATCA, FBAR, tax-treaty interactions, and the planning moves that legally minimize cross-border tax exposure.

What You'll Take Away

Three Pillars of This Conversation

🌍
01 · Cross-Border Basics

The rules every international family should know.

FATCA, FBAR, Form 8938, tax residency, and the reporting obligations US-connected families often discover too late — and at great cost.

💱
02 · Repatriation

Bringing assets to the US.

How to repatriate foreign assets legally, the tax events you may trigger, and the structures that minimize tax friction on the move across borders.

📜
03 · Treaty Planning

How tax treaties work for you.

Tax treaties between the US and major countries (India, UK, EU, China, Canada) offer planning leverage that domestic-only families don't have. We show how to use them.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really free?+
Yes. There is no cost to attend, no purchase required, and no obligation. The seminar is sponsored by Lithos as part of our commitment to financial education for families across the country.
Will there be a sales pitch?+
No. This is an educational seminar. We mention at the end that complimentary 1-on-1 reviews are available for anyone interested in personalized guidance, but there is no live product pitch and no high-pressure offer. Education is the point.
What's the difference between in-person and Zoom attendance?+
Both formats cover the same content at the same scheduled time. In-person attendees get the take-home materials in print and can ask questions face-to-face; Zoom attendees receive the materials digitally by email after the event. Both formats include live Q&A.
I live outside the in-person location. Can I still attend?+
Absolutely — the Zoom format is designed exactly for that. We have attendees join from all over the country every week. Choose the Zoom option on the RSVP form and we'll email you the link.
Can I bring my spouse or family members?+
Absolutely. These topics are family conversations. Please reply to the confirmation email with the names of any guests you'd like to bring (in-person) or include on the Zoom invite.
How long is the seminar?+
Approximately 50–60 minutes including Q&A. We respect your evening — we start on time and finish on time.
What if I can't make any of these dates?+
RSVP for whichever date works best, then reply to the confirmation email if you need to reschedule. We typically run this seminar every Tuesday, so the next date is rarely more than a week away.
